So last night I enjoyed two good movies for the price of one. Here are your re-cap reviews.

Late entry: The Aviator.
Leo Rocked, the Movie sucked. It just wasn't put together in an interesting way. It has been a long time since I've seen multiple groups of people leave the theater before the movie was thinking of ending. And the ending wasn't that great either. I can go on for hours on why this movie sucked so much but lets just say that his lack of an Oscar drove Martin to the mad house. Or an attempt at desperation. The movie is interesting at different points, but they don't link in. He just didn't spend enough time in the editing room. Hey it happens. Now Leonardo Di Caprio played a very good Howe Hughs. That is the thing about the movie, in my opinion the entire movie was very well acted. Everybody was convincing. Leo still may not have a chance against Jaime though.

Last night: Splanglish
Feel good family movie for sure. You believe the characters, they stayed away from the over use of cliches. You believe most of the growth and progression of the characters and their drama, and at the end, you are left with a wow feeling. Adam was dope. The little Mexican girl acted her little heart out, and Paz was bright. I loved this movie. It isn't on my new top ten or anything like that, but I still loved it. It doesn't have to be my favorite to love it.

Last night before Spanglish: Meet the Fockers
Funny Funny movie. Hilarious. Yes they do go too far with some Jew Cliches, and they go too far in general, but at the same time they kept me laughing. Babs was great and so was dustin. A few scenes I could've done without, but in general I thought it was hilarious.

It is so great that I can watch so many movies with Marisol and always enjoy a good conversation about them afterwards. We tear movies to shreds.
As does OB. He is so precise with the critique of movies. Well honestly with the critique of everything. Last Tuesday I went to the theater with him and we say The House of Flying Daggers, which we both agreed, sucked ass with huge shit crumbs. Really. He says its because everyone in the movie was a liar and you couldn't trust anybody. Even though I agree with him I think that even if I could trust someone it would still be a terrible movie. Ussually bad movies like this are ussually disguised with great martial arts. Besides the opening scenes with the Dance and game I didn't think anything else was impressive.

Okay thats it for now, I aint mister movie phone, because I think I hit more than him now. Ask me about movies, he has lost his truth and momentum. I tell it how I feel it. It may not be your opinion but it will give you insight to help find yours.

Con tato, Chevere nice, Te gusto?
