Highlights of the Year

1) First ever Salon Lucero, celebrating my Birthday
2) Invited reader at the Acentos anniversary show
3) Paper article with my picture next to Miguel Algarin's.
4) Second ever Salon Lucero
5) Learned how to write a whole lot better.
6) Dope ass editing sessions with dope ass people
7) Witnessed Patricia Smith in a Slam
8) Went out to Salome's birthday party with my Family (crew) and met Jessica's cute friend
9) Continued to meet Jessica's friend so more (wink)
10) Her name is Marisol (do I need to say more?)
11) Got to raise money for the Louder Arts Slam Team
12) Had a great time at my first ever National Poetry Slam.
13) Met some dope ass poets
14) Uppercase WOWOWOWOWOWOW
15) Fundraising began, for real though
16) Helped organize the first annual Louder Holiday
17) Had an incredible holidays, including the best ever Christmas
18) Oh I featured with OB, and Rich at Hofstra University.
19) The one and only synonymous Jam I went to was a dope experience. And the fact that I met Lovella there for the first time and was awake for a total of too many hours was cool too.
20) I met some of the people last year, but this year was absolutly the relationship building year, where I ended with a lot more loved friends than what I started with.
21) I had a photoshoot with Peter Dressel, whiched kicked ass
22) Saw a bunch of great movies with Mari
23) Had a few great movie nights in the begining of the year
24) Oh I went to Bar 13 for the very first time during this year, so I guess that is a lot of progress for one year.
25) Cooked really well. Made things I only dreamed of before
26) Began Guitar training
27) Done a bunch of dope stuff
I am missing so so much aint I?

This year has been dope ass, it didn't suck ass. Word
I enjoyed this year very much and I am a little sad to see it leave. I guess this is what happens. I love my new family. The people that make days lighter, or heavier. The beautiful people that brighten my smile. 2004 has taught me many lessons that I will not list.
Tomorrow is New Years Eve, and I am thinking about a New Year's resolution.

In everything I do I desire more Passion.
I want to create art that moves sand without matter.
I want sing out of tune until my heart beats blood to my head and makes my eyes read.
I want to be immortal, and this year I will begin my endevours to truly become immortal.
