And the fun don't stop, and the body ache doesn't stop either. That is what is left this beautiful Monday morning. All I feel is fatigue. Dude it was so worth it. Totally worth it. I zombied through work all day on Saturday because I was just so tired from the day before. I planned on saving as much energy for the evening as possible so I didn't taste any caffeine until 8:30pm. That is when it started.

Before I get there I would like to talk about my lunch break. I always talk about the park and this time it will be no different. I walk into the park, find the first bench, and take off shoes and socks, roll up my uniform pants, and take off all top wear. Then I find the sunniest patch of grass on a small hill and begin to sun bathe. I didn't only do it to get a little more color (as if I really need it) but also because I love the peaceful feeling of lying down and absorbing the sun's energy. I felt like superman. And to be honest I do look great when I get a tan. I look more like my grandfather who has a Native Dominican Indio complexion. I would not be surprised to find out that he was the direct descendent of the son of the Taino chief before his tribe was discovered by Colon. Or something close to that. Anyway the point is that the park was great.

Okay after work I went to the movies. Because of a default of any movie worth watching me and my host decided to see "The day after tomorrow". I hated the movie and loved it at the same time. The science and weather and effects were incredible. The story was stupid,
unbelievable, a little predictable, and just not needed. The same events, the same group of people, a little less over the top drama and
the movie would have been great. The actors were all great it was the story that they were given to work with. Some things were just unbelievable, and I don't mean in the science of it. I mean what people did, and wolves showing up when they obviously were not needed. Whoever had the idea to include the wolves in that movie should be shot. I think this is a movie that I was happy to see on the big screen and I would have rather seen it and hated it than not seen it and never of known. Thank you honey, you are phenomenal. The best part of the movie was, "the Mexican border has been closed to the American refugees. Americans are illegally crossing El Rio Grande to get into Mexico...
This just in, the Mexican government opened the borders after the American President struck a deal that will forgive all Latin America Debt." That was just brilliant.

I hopped on the 1 train to meet the Tata uptown and enjoy some dancing. Umbrella was a lot of fun. It had been a few months since I danced merengue in a club. Umbrella's Dominican politics that it has with itself needs arbitration. Never mind the fact that every single person looked exactly alike. I mean the same two haircuts circulated the room with the same jeans and more or less the same style of shirt. Can you say original? Most of the people there are trying to run away from the title "Hick" so fast that they are just re-inventing the word. Too bad. I still remember when Diesel Jeans jumped into fashion and the Idea of wearing $120 jeans attracted me and turned me off at the same time. I only bought one pair and didn't think that it was that important to do even though I still wanted to own them. Now diesel is just second class. 7 jeans are now in. These brand start at $165. The tax alone on that is unbelievable. And I am ashamed to admit that I want a pair. Sorry folks but I do. I think that they are cute and I am sure that I will look great in them, but wanting a pair is not going to get me to buy a pair any time soon. I just know that they are not in my budget. I like nice stuff but I don't think that I am a millionaire. Now I will keep my head open for the sample sale...
