Note: This was posted two days late. It has been a bit busy.

It's been a week and I will now return to the world of LJ. Sorry I've been away for a while. But what a while it has been.

So on Thursday night I met Martin Espada for the second time. This time he wont forget me. He delivered a mind shattering set at Acentos. It was just amazing. This man is living legend if I've ever seen it. I got a total of three of his books. One which he had to read from before he gave it to me. He got me a drink and the next day a group of us went to dinner after his reading at the Pink Pony which is very very boring. Poetry is good but the reading is so damn somber. That place needs a value size bottle of Ritilin. Maybe some Meth or something. Dios mio please give that place Life.

Oscar needs to host the pink pony reading to bring that shit back to life. On Thursday's open Mic with Martin Oscar gave me the only intro. I mean this man said things that made me feel the highest I've ever felt Poetry wise. It was such a great intro that Martin added me to the list of people to thank when he thanked Acentos. I'm sure it was because of Oscar's intro but it felt super good. When my hero thanks me for any reason I gush.

After I read at the pink pony where I was sitting at Martin's table he said I did a good job. That just filled my head with the illest Helium.

During dinner Martin spoke on Slam and Def Jam. Hmmm In slam he did mention Christian Drake and Adam Rubenstein in high regards. I still don't know how to put peoples LJ name when I speak about them. Must learn.

I worked Friday night at the Bowery but it was very sad to Leave Martin, Rachel and company. I did have an awesome time.

Saturday I went to the Parse book opening party which was nothing short of Amazing. Elana, Sabrina, Jai and everyone else really amaze the shit out of me. After the party I went to a friends party in Brooklyn, where I danced and danced the night away. I crashed at my friends house and On sunday morning I got to have lunch in one of my Favorite Cafe's in NY which is in Prospect Heights Brooklyn. That is the one and Only Cafe Shane. If you are by the Brooklyn Museam, walk down Washington Ave to Shane's. You Wont regret it.

Monday Amiri Baraka was at Bar 13 and once again I stood in awe. After I read that night he grunted for my poem. That made me very happy.

Okay I have to go to work. Forgive spelling errors, I'll be back later.

Con tato, Chevere nice, Te gusto?
