This weekend as a total experience wasn't as good as prior weekends but by no means was it a bad weekend. Friday was super dope ass with a big word is bond. I met with the Bonair-Agard for an editing session that was really productive. It took place in a Dominican restaurant under his apartment that served me a dope ass Chivo guisado (goat stew). Later on that night we went to Kristine Gotilla's birthday party which was a really cool hang out time, in her duplex in Brooklyn with a very nice outdoor space. i had a great time and hung out with some really cool artists and cold beer.

Saturday I did nothing the entire afternoon, and it felt great. Then I went to Jane Lecroy's birthday celebration where I was super moved by Kid Lucky. The entire performance was hot but I never saw him live and was amazed by his display.

Sunday work wasn't bad because I spend most of the time reciting a poem over and over again trying to nail it flawlessly. I think I had great progress which made my time golden. I also ate lunch in the park for the first time this year. I mean my job lunch not a regular one because I've had one of those already. I went back to the pond that I so adore right on the enterance of 100th and CPW.

Now I am watching Subteranean on MTV2, which is one of two shows that I can stand on that channel without wanting to rip my ears off and feed it to the hogs showed in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. I saw the Saul Williams video for the song "list of demands (reperations)" for the first time. I've heard of him but I have never read or heard any of his poetry. I believe that Suheir Hammad was in the video, but besides that, I was completly amazed by the song and video. I thought it was great and I am considering purchasing the album.
Right now my post was just interrupted by what I think is the Gorrilaz. I haven't ever seen them since they used animation for the entire first album. It was said that their first album was a one time project so I didn't think they were going to have a follow up album. I still don't know if this is them but who ever it is I like. I am looking at the TV trying to catch the info at the end of video. Okay it wasn't them but whoever it was they rocked. It might just be the same MC because whoever it was they featured someone that I didn't catch with the fast moving new format of info at the end of MTV2's video's.

Anyway rambling isn't all that great so allow me to ask people to watch the Saul Williams video and tell me what you think.

Con tato, Chevere nice, Te gusto?
