where you at? the city behind us!
Horray it's christmas eve eve. So last minute shopping rush will pour into tomorrow, and commercial dreams will come true. Not a negative at all. Our economy needs huge shopping seasons to recooperate from the really bad months. We as a community, the entire City, profits from our commercial hunger. Shop shop shop, someone gets a better commission, some small family gets more money, some office employee gets a better bonus, most profit one way or another. Even if non of it is true we need to make up something that will send a boom to commerce. When I worked at the furniture store, Holiday season and Income tax return season were our peaks. We knew we would get an awesome commission those months, but we also knew that about mid-May to October we would be slow as syrup, which we were. One thing balanced out the other. If you can afford to get gifts then thats dope, if not, then the people who you love and who you are planning to give a gift to, should understand if they don't recieve. It is not a season for getting, it is for giving. That is the way it should be. We as individuals should not pressure ourselves as much as we do. I put the pressure on myself and cannot blame anyone else. That is the truth of my circumstance, and my preeching words should be followed a bit more to the T. Word.
I shopped a bunch this year, and I enjoyed giving every gift I gave. The smiles pay for everything. The hugs pay extra, and kisses, well she still hasn't opened all of her gifts so I'll let you know.
Word is bond and bond is paper and we can make money out of us bond or just buy a bond and then let that sucker grow.
Okay that was just nonsense. Today I feel this great energy and as I sit at the front dest in my office and everyone else walks in with a terrible attitude, I am smilling and ordering those mothers to change. Turn that frown upside down. That was the old slogan for Lionel Kiddie City, which used to be across the street from Marisol's school which is where I went for the 2nd 3rd and half of 4th grades. Right where the super Mundo on Jerome and Fordham is. Where the Wiz used to be, even though it was nobody beats the wiz before it was The Wiz.
