I am too wild during after X-mas sales.
I should not be allowed to be at any huge sale with big amounts of money at my disposal.

I am awaiting the New Year with great anticipation. 2005 shall prove to take me to the moon and back and then to the mars and back and back to the moon and back, so basically it is like an galactic suicide excercise. Those were fun in elementary school, but more often than not I would be the guy to drop before touching the final line. I wasn't too athletic but that was okay because I was the first to be able to touch the rim.

I watched Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind with Marisol last night. It is a movie that reveals so much more of itself the second time around. I was again moved by it in a huge way. I am not sure if that is my favorite movie of the year, or Finding Neverland. I loved Ray, but it didn't give me enough goosebumps. I guess I just love believing in Magic. I hope you do...

Garden State is released today on DVD, and for all who missed it in theater I suggest to rent it or buy it ASAP. That was also an incredible movie that gave me many goosebumps, and changed my emotions for the evening. I guess that is how I rate a movie. The more emotion that the movie extracts from me, the more I love it. I'm a sap right? Yeah I am and loving it.

Movies that give me goosebumps proove themselves to me because they remove me from the movie theater or the couch and transport me into the setting. It manages to make me forget that I am watching a movie and allows me to become a third party. A character in a life outside of mine. A movie that can do that, is not only magical, but is also well acted and well directed. I can only think of three movies that accomplished this with me this year. There might be more but I am just not thinking of them right now.
In my opinion it is what every movie maker should strive for.

Con tato, Chevere nice, Te gusto?
