So it's been a long week, and a quiet one on my blog. A lot has happened, I just haven't had the time to write it down. On Saturday I had a gig at the curious Cafe which was pretty kick ass. I went on pretty late. I get there about an hour late and I am told that it had just started. The beer was free so I was like, yeah, and continued with the evening. A few poets later The band went on. They played the equivalent of two sets or something like that but they were good in my opinion. I had many many fun listening to them, moving my head, and thinking, hmm I wonder when I am going on? So I had to go right after the band which wasn't that bad because I think that as great as they were the poetry bug bit everyone on the ass. Or maybe it was one of the many roaches that occupied the premises? Who knows, but whatever it was I was well received by the audience who listened to Saturday Night Train and Platform Plea. It was really fun. I read it on Saturday night so people were able to feel the train taking too damn long on a Saturday night when all are ready to do whatever. It was a good two poems and I am glad I was invited. The coolest part was the cool programs they had with my photo and bio on it. That was kinda wow. No Very WOW.
Let me also say that a certain MR. Mathew Charles Siegel was also very WOW, reading in ways that I have never been exposed to before. Pauses, feeling, Good ups and downs, with no asthma. Lol He was WOW. Very WOW.

I think maybe great awesome very splendiferous, but no it was simply WOW!

My back was so trashed on Saturday that I took Sunday off and Lay on the bed with BenGay on my back and just slept all day until late afternoon. That was gold, pure friggin gold. After I got up and began to cook politically incorrect meat parmagiana with linguini and my special sauce. No damn Ragu or Prego this is the real deal stuff. It was really a coincidence that I watched Under the Tuscan Sun after I made an Italian dish. And a good dish it was. Wow Wow WOWOWOWOWOW! I am full of WOW's today.
Tonight
Groove Nation.
Let's see what this installment brings.

Con tato, Chevere nice, Te gusto?
