The Masses are really assess huh. Hell Pedro must be laughing in his grave. Should I be all passionate and upset about this? Probably but not likely. I knew something like this was going to happen. So should I become a Canadian resident now? No of course not. People don't understand, I am not an American, I am a New Yorker. The differences are evident. As was proved by my trip to Nationals I totally understand that we are different people. I can't speak of the rest of the country as a whole, but the way of thinking, and acting, and living is completely different.
I love New York, but I don't share the same love for the United States of America. I haven't seen enough good to say that I can honestly love the entire country. I may not be the most patriotic person in the world. I would never really wear or buy any large American Flags. The Fourth of July is nothing more than a day for a BBQ. It never held that amount of importance to me. I was inspired when I watched the Patriot but that was just because of Mel Gibson. I loved the idea of a country fighting for its freedom and then treating everyone around them like shit but it still wont move me to salute a flag. Or even sing the another loser anthem at a sporting event. Sounds bad, well then maybe it is, but I have not found patriotism in the "red neck agenda". Green Day was very correct, there are too many American Idiots in the United States of America. Remember that it is not America, it is just a bunch of states untied under one government who was originally not supposed to have as much power as it currently has. State government is at the level of dick right now, no real authority. Well that may not be the case for every state, I mean look at states like Mississippi and all of their voting regulations and the level of control that they have on them. It is crazy to think that places can operate like that. The whole motherfucking state of Mississippi, is right, they are all loons. I have never been there. I have not been to too many states at all. Umm NJ, which doesn't really count, PA, but that is close too. Mass, but there are a bunch of Dominicans there so that explains that. I have been to Florida, but only Miami, which technically is a hot NYC. Well not quite, but fun in the sun is fun. I have never been to CT but I did go to Missouri with NAT, and that experience probably defines itself. Umm I think that is about it.

In PA I saw a door to door meat salesperson. How insane is that? So I haven't been anywhere but I plan to travel. Trust in that I plan to go far and wide. But much more than this small country I want to see the world, see what I don't know, and what I want to know. Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and the rest of the Caribbean, and maybe somewhere in between there I will do what I have to do to re-discover my Island. No not Manhattan but that is more my Island than Quisqueya la bella will ever be. Sorta Rican moment but not sorta rican. I am a Dominican York. As New York as I am, I am still a product of a Dominican who grew up in New York. It may not be as obvious as other things about me, but that doesn't change the fact that my musical roots, my drinking habits, my Spanish, and my style of dress to a certain extent, is all Dominican. The love of Cigars wasn't a Dominican thing when I stated but it is great the say that the only Dominican product that I patronize is not only the Gap T-shirt that says "Made in the Dominican Republic". Now I smoke luxury cigars made in factories where the workers are paid more than fair. The Cigar market is so competitive that companies are willing to make sure they have the best. Oh and the food I love is still Dominican, which doesn't mean that I don't love other stuff. Anyway, I need to see more stuff and see that maybe the world isn't as screwed up as it is painted to be. Hopefully.

Con tato, Chevere nice, Te gusto?
