So yesterday was my mother's wedding anniversary. I really forgot and was reminded the day, which is not a good thing, but this is her 4th marriage and I get them mixed up. That is bad to write but I am not ashamed of my mother. She just doesn't have boyfriends. Her mind was washed by early in her youth by Jehovah Witness Mercenaries. Oppps I mean Missionaries. Oh well, the point is that they taught her that Fornication is wrong and you shouldn't be in a serious relationship or intimate in any way, (not just sexual) If you weren't planning on marrying the person. So she married my dad at age 17, never lived alone, never knew how to be alone, and went from one marriage to the next. The second one was a disaster. It was running away from the loneliness of her and my Dad's breakup, and still coping with the death of a child. It didn't last more than 3 years, I myself didn't enjoy getting hit by him, but it didn’t' do any long-term damage I think. I think less actually. The next one was someone who she loved but still used as an escape. She got him and his seven kids greencards, and well I suffered with that family. They were the reason I moved out of my Mom's house at 17 years of age. I still think that they had a cool marriage, or at least she seemed to be moderately happy with that dude. I didn't care if I didn't like him too much, as long as she was okay with him. They were married for about 11 or 12 years. Give or take. Well anyway she was married two years ago to a dude that treats her like gold. That is all that matters. She is happy.
Anyway they wanted me to go to dinner with them, so we went to El Valle on Longwood and Southern Blvd. I had a good time with them. It has been a while since I have had a chance to spend quality time with them. My mother works nights, so vacation and surgeries are our biggest bonding periods.
Because of this Anniversary thing, I missed Mathews Feature. So So Sorry Matt, my mommy only has one anniversary a year. Umm yeah only one.
Anyway, I will make it up to you Mathew.
