Dallas has surpassed my expectation. The team that made it to the final that has wooed me has to be Dallas. All the way dude.

So yesterday was a good day. I spent the day with friends from Eugene, Oregon, where I was offered a feature in that great state. Nice to make new friends and meet people from different walks of life.

Then I went to semi's where I had a ball but was sad at the same times. My friends were incredible. Splediforous even. I loved it. After I got to hear the declare yourself tour which was phenomenal.
The indie finals were dissapointing to me. Rants with no poetry is still number 1.

I am at the finals as we speak and dallas is doing it again. The poetry itself in this piece is not impressing me so much, but the group performance is hott. Yes two t's.

Joaquin from dallas is amazing man. That dude got some energy.

Okay so group pieces are awesome and all but there have been way too many. What ever happen to getting to the final stage and just going crazy. Doing something new, something passionate, something that is so you.
Too many refferences to starbucks. I expected more, really did. I was under the impression that the final stage was for teams who wanted to do their damn thing. Aint happen too much.

Hollywood sends out a golden child instead of a team for the last round. That makes two single poets for them. Respek to that.

Getting back to yesterday, I went to an incredible bonfire. Yes a bonfire. With Marisol I would have had an incredible drunken hippie time at the fire. Probably would have made love in a bush. I also put my feet in the mighty Mississipi. The mother fuckin river of the Mississippi. I would have tried to make my baby wet her feet there too. She should have so been here man.
It was a great night though. With her would have been a lot better.

Denver also sends up a single poet. Well she is very pregnant so maybe that is still a group piece.
