Tonight's game will give me hope beyond hope. I get to slam with three of the best poets I know, against the best slammers that NY has to offer. Whatcha know about that?

I have seen way too many cheesy Disney competition movies to think that we don't have a chance. All I need is a dope soundtrack. Whenever it looks like we're down just cue the inspirational music and watch us ome back like a bad rash.

Getting serious for 1.2 minutes, it was an honor to be asked, it will be an honor being with my team, and it will be an honor competing with the best. I have seen Mr. Bonair-Agar, Celina Glen, RAC, George, and Cerelli all destroy slams. Then there is Abena and Rich who I love dearly, and who might throw down on any given night. I hope them the best at Nats, and I will learn from them during Regionals. If you ever want to be the best you must first lose to the best, and if I were to lose I wouldn't want sucky people beating me. I am ready to represent Acentos with honor, pride and platano, and whatever the outcome, I will have fun.

Yesterday I missed Bar 13 and the food slam. I hated missing it. I didn't feel as bad as I do when I miss Acentos, but I still felt bad. Usually the one I miss is the one that has the surprise of the year. When I got home on Sunday I knew that laundry was in my immediate plans, but my body did not allow me to lift myself. Because of this I had to wash clothes yesterday. It was a greater need than expected, I was down to my last everything. All done now.

Yesterday while I was folding I watched "Runaway Jury". It was a pretty cool movie too, the end twist sorta threw me off, a little too noble for me. Yeah it was sweet the way they got Gene. He is hard to like in a movie if your first clear memory of him is from Superman as Lex Luther. Luther corp. is worst than Physer.

This may make all the Starbucks haters proud, but I limited my consumption of the evil coffee maker from once or twice a day to maybe 3 to 4 times a week. I finally learned how to use my espresso machine and I make sure every night that it is ready for morning brew. Cappuccino anyone? Be one of the first five people to leave a comment and your first Cappuccino at Salon Lucero is free. Void in Hawaii and other places that I have never been to. Oh and one coffee per person. Hey Matt if you win, it's bring your own soy dude.

I feel great this morning, but hopefully my office can change that. Hurray. Oh well just have to roll with the punches.

I need to find my version of fish flakes.

I think ima join the Vanderbilt Y. I need a gym with a pool because that is the best exercise and I don't plan on doing much of anything else other than laps. I wanna be lean, hard, and fit. Or that's what I have been telling myself since the age of 14. One more year and its a decade. That would be an all time high procrastination for me. Who rocks more than me? Okay please don't give me a list I know it's long.
