A night not to be forgotten. Impossible to forget. This has been a
magical evening and I loved every minute of it. The night started with
an open mic that brought new voices and that was refreshing that even on
the anniversary celebration I heard so much brand new work.
Okay most of the people that read this were there, unless there are

Moving right along, oh yeah, so most of you were there and don't need a
detailed summary. Me, honored and terrified, ready to do something that
would change my life. I put my heart on a paper and read it. I wrote
with my blood, and recited it. My life is changed. I shared my
greatest woe with the world and survived. It felt great. It hurt too.
My epic was appreciated by many and that was incredible. I made a few
people cry. Whenever an artist can make such a clear evidence of
emotion pour out his auditors, then he has shared his heart. I was very
flattered. Miguel Algarin told me that moved him, and gave me a kiss
on the cheek. Wow. Towards the end of the night one person asked me
"what would you call that, was it a short story? I didn't hear any
rhyming, did you try to make it rhyme." Okay. This was a story told
through 4 poems. I don't ever write and I am really not too interested
in rhyming. I broke it up into chapters because that's what they were.
There were 4 pieces in there but they must be read together. It’s a
story told through a series of poems. Is that so difficult to
understand? Okay.
People that probably never noticed me much showed me a great deal of
love and respect. That felt like gold. I am blessed to have a circle
like the one I do. Without Rich, Jess and OB I would have never been
able to read that. Rich had countless I'm conversations with me, many
emails. He is the professor.

Jessi was great on the mic last night. She is on a new level of
confidence and I loved it. La chica rock esta aqui. No me jodas.

The mini feature was hot. I wanted to breathe for her all through. I
wonder how many words she went through? Incredible.

Once again the night was incredible. Spectacular. Fabulous. Amazing.
Magical.
